THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION FOR ENGINEERS

 I think that what Marc Riemer is trying to say is that engineering students should not just focus solely on their technical skills, but encourages them to also work on their communication skills. Engineers are problem solvers but what they lack sometimes is how they want to project their ideas. Sometimes how you pitch your ideas is just as important as how good your ideas are. With good communication skills, engineering students can explain about their project better and most important is to make sure that their audience are sold on the project. Therefore, whether you are an engineering student or a senior engineer, communication skills are an important skills to have in your arsenal.
